We all need nutrients, fibre, water and we’re good to go.

There are many tasty foods that are good for our health.

Meat, fish, fruit, vegetable’s whole grains, pulses, legumes, nuts, herbs etc.

They can be boiled, roasted, grilled, BBQ-ed, lightly steamed, fried, sun-dried or eaten raw.

Smoothies are great for convenience & versatility.

You can give the kids their daily 5-10 mix of veg and fruit, chia seeds, berries, oatmeal, carrots, bananas, oranges, beetroot, carrot, ginger prescribed medication etc, etc.

We really have no need for food that is detrimental to our health.

Causing depression, and making us look like spotty pigs ………………

Not those cute ones either!

Our need is for understanding and positive motivation.

A nudge in the right direction.

We’ve become accustomed to eating whatever the food giants decide to sell us.

They load it with sugar, salt, additives, etc..

Refined white flour products like white bread, pizza’s, doughnuts, croissants, crackers, breakfast cereals,  biscuits (English & American), etc.

Refined wheat is lower in essential nutrients which are empty calories.

The healthy bran has been removed.

                                                               This can lead to rapid spikes in blood sugar levels.

Industrial Vegetable Oils are high in omega-6 fatty acids which are unnatural and unhealthy in large amounts to human beings.

They have also been linked to oxidative stress, and cancer.

Coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil or avocado oil are a better bet, and healthier.

Healthy eating creates inner happiness, as well as external beauty.

For him & her alike.

Additives which make children hyper-active, and behave senselessly probably  have some kind on effect on most adults moods or behaviour.

Maybe hyper -active adults is the reason for so much mental health, and senseless crime.

I know that I’m personally much happier eating healthy food.

Children with behavioral problems change dramatically when restricted from certain foods or additives.

Healthy meals mean fewer carcinogens (cancer-causing) and more nutrients, and antioxidants to protect us from serious illnesses.

There are many illnesses which are becoming more common as our diets have increased in Trans fats, saturated fats.

In addition to sugar, salt, sugary drinks, artificial additives, etc, which have adverse effects on our health, behavior, happiness & performance all round.

You Are What You Eat

By eating more rubbish, we are eating less good stuff. Duh!

We are moving slower, aging faster and we ain’t looking so hot.
