We’ve all heard of Superfoods, how about Superfruits?
The one’s rated as, “super” by nutrition experts and scientists are full of antioxidants, fibre, vitamins and minerals, and several other nutrients that can help you live longer, look better, perform like a 20 year old and even prevent disease. Also help with recovery from illness injury, or mental health.
All fruits contains nutrition, but not all are regarded as Superfruit.
A wide array of vegetables are available locally from the markets, supermarkets, small health shops near most town centres. The city Asian shops keep a good supply of exotic fruit.
Superfruits are best eaten raw, unprocessed. The fresher the better. Experts recommend that we should be eating between five, up to nine portions of fruit or vegetables every day, and many of them should be Superfruits.
Superfoods include many foods other than fruit.
